The Twelfth Imam is in the belief structure of Shi’ite Muslims the Savior of Islam who will bring the world out of chaos and into peace, as he will be recognized by Christians and Jews as Messiah. In Iran, President Madman I’monnajihad, sees his apostolic mission to be to nuke Israel in order to cause the end-times chaos that will cause the return of the Imam.
As nine pro-Palestinian activists have been killed on a Gaza flotilla, Israel is condemned worldwide for self-defense.
Israel has been defeated in this skirmish by the Palestinians use of several rules of Saul Alinsky’s, “Rules For Radicals”:

(2) Never go outside the experience of your people. When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear, and retreat.
(3) Whenever possible go outside the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear and retreat.
Hamas is used to sea-going smuggling. The IDF is not accustomed to having an attempt to pull one of its helicopters out of the sky with a ship.
pg 129: If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it breaks through to the other side to become a positive.
pg. 136: The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.

Hamas goaded the overwhelming sea and air power of the IDF enough to cause the IDF to give Hamas the exact number of martyrs it desired. By losing this episode, tens of thousands of individuals and the nation of Turkey, Israel’s last, non-Arab, Muslim, ally have switched to the cause of the Palestinians.
That is a very good return on investment of nine martyrs, now enjoying the pleasures bestowed on religious martyrs, in exchange for isolating Israel and goading her to possibly use one of her nukes on Iran, thus making way for the return of the twelfth Imam.
